Merry Christmas!

We want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas
and a Happy New Year! We have so much to be thankful
for. God has truly blessed us! Let us not forget the true
meaning of this time of year......the birth of our Savior!

The God who opens the womb, giving the gift of
children, became a child growing in the womb of a woman.

The One we depend on for everything
became dependent on human parents.

The One who holds the universe in
His hands was held in the arms of Mary.

The One who created the first
woman was born of a woman.

The Ancient of Days became a newborn.

The Helper became a helpless baby.

The Creator became a creature.

This year we hosted the annual Ugly Christmas
Sweater Party at our house. We had so much fun!

O Christmas Tree

Last year we picked out a real Christmas tree.
And Kirk cut it down so we decided to do it
again this year. It's one of my favorite things
to do as a family! Here are some pictures from the day.

It was a beautiful, sunny day! When we arrived
we went on a little tractor hay ride out to
the Christmas trees

They have a variety of different
types of trees to choose from
